Anastasia Beverly Hills - Liquid Lipsticks

I was so excited to finally receive my very first international make up brand order! It wasn’t much but they cost me a lot of money when you add up the duty fees. I didn’t purchase these off of a reseller but rather, on their actual website www.anastasiabeverlyhills.com. I have fallen absolutely in love with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipsticks. I purchased Crush, Soft Lilac, Strawberry and Lovely.

This product has such a smooth and creamy application and only takes a few seconds to dry. Once it dries it does not feel patchy and thick on my lips like most matte or liquid lipsticks. It is also long lasting! What I have also noticed with this product is that you do not have to double dip. The lipstick goes on smoothly and covers all areas with one dip. This picture is quite deceiving because Crush and Lovely look very similar in colour. In reality, Crush is more of a light brown-nude whereas Lovely has got a beautiful pink tint to it.Soft Lilac comes out as more of a very darkish purple on my lips. Strawberry is bold and beautiful and is the only one I find that is very difficult to come off, even when I need it to! This product is 100% cruelty-free and I would definitely recommend it to anyone! Despite the price, whether you purchase from a reseller in South Africa or from the actual website, it works out around the same. Obviously the South African sellers mark it up so that they can earn a profit but it is so worth it! In the image below, TOP LEFT - RIGHT: Crush and Strawberry.
